Evaluating and Identifying Online Resources

This week we are reading articles about the brain and the learning process. I was curious about the way I learned and strategies I can use to guide my student’s learning process. I found these websites that provide us information about the development of the right-brain and left-brain thinking. I hope you can enjoy them.

To be able to address our student’s needs, we need to understand the way the brain works. Our brain is divided in to parts: the right side and the left side. Usually people demonstrate characteristics of one side more than the other. Some persons have a balanced brain.

This website tells us about the difference between the right-brain or left-brain thinking. As teachers we usually attend the needs of left-brain thinking students. The space for creativity and feelings is limited. This information is valuable to help us plan the best way to meet our student’s interest and needs.
